Ohmic Curing of Silver Micro-Particle Inks Printed on Thermoplastics

The ohmic curing of two silver micro-particle inks was studied. Silver lines 35 to 75 µm thick were printed on a mixture polycarbonate and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (PC+ABS) substrate mineral reinforced Nylon 6 thermoplastic, using laboratory-made system based volumetric dosing dispenser. After 48 h stabilization in ambient conditions, current is applied through the with an imposed intensity value application time order cure inks. Printed thermoplastics characterized at end process check absence deformation due treatment. study showed that led better electrical performances than oven considerable saving.
